Police: Serious crash shuts down sections of Southern State Parkway in West Babylon
Police have closed off eastbound Southern State Parkway to northbound access on Straight Path, as well as westbound Southern State to southbound Straight Path.

Police: Driver wanted in fatal New Cassel hit-and-run
3h agoPolice say there was a serious crash on the Southern State Parkway around Exit 36 in West Babylon.
Officers say it happened on Straight Path in the vicinity of the Southern State overpass.
They say the crash happened just before 4 a.m.
Police have closed off eastbound Southern State Parkway to northbound access on Straight Path, as well as westbound Southern State to southbound Straight Path.
There is no word yet on any injuries or the cause.
