Police search for 3 suspects accused of punching, stabbing 20-year-old in Franklin Square

FRANKLIN SQUARE - Police are searching for three suspects who stabbed and robbed a man in Franklin Square yesterday.

Authorities say the 20-year-old victim stopped to buy cigarettes on Hempstead Turnpike near Catherine Avenue when three men punched him, stabbed him and stole his watch.

The victim is currently recovering in the hospital.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
