Police are searching for suspects who allegedly vandalized nearly 20 cars in Mineola Friday night.
Janet Badger woke up to find her sister's vehicle covered with sexually explicit marker drawings. Badger says other cars had swastikas and obscene writings scrawled on them.
Less than a mile away, a synagogue was vandalized Thursday night, leading some local residents to wonder if the incidents are related.
One neighbor says the vandals in Friday's incident even stole an American flag off his front lawn ahead of the Fourth of July festivities.
