Police have determined there is no threat at Suffolk County Community College in Selden following a report of a gun on campus.
School officials tell News 12 an anonymous threat came across the social media app "Yik Yak" that said a student was walking through the library with a gun.
Suffolk County Community College officials say police determined there was no threat.
Out of an abundance of caution, the president of the college directed public safety on all campuses to go through all buildings, officials tell News 12.
Police are investigating the incident.
