A 17-year-old student was issued a summons for "breach of peace" over a threatening message that prompted increased security at New Canaan high school on Friday, police say.
Police say they learned of the threat, which was posted on social media, just before the start of the school day.
They say the message was generic in nature and was deemed not credible, but extra officers were brought in as a precaution.
