Police: Mastic man allegedly drove drunk, hit pedestrian in Patchogue and fled

<p>A Mastic man is accused of driving drunk, hitting a pedestrian and taking off.</p>

A Mastic man is accused of driving drunk, hitting a pedestrian and taking off.
Police say Roberto Ortez hit a man who was crossing Main Street in Patchogue just after 2 a.m. Sunday.
He then allegedly left the scene, rear-ended another vehicle and struck a utility pole near River Avenue. 
News 12 is told the pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.
Ortez also suffered minor injuries.
He was arrested and will face a judge this morning.
