Police say they are searching for the man who ran off on foot after striking two cars on the Southern State Parkway, leaving a child in his SUV.
It happened near Exit 17 around 11 a.m. Monday.

Detectives say the man was driving a Ford Explorer when he hit a Honda heading eastbound, then went over the guard rail and hit a westbound Dodge.
