Police arrest suspect in fatal Hempstead shooting
Police have arrested a woman who they say is responsible for a deadly shooting in Hempstead.
Police say Laquasia Calloway is facing charges in the death of Damien Pinckney.
As News 12 previously reported, the 37-year-old was shot in the chest inside his home on Lawson Street early Thursday morning.
A teenager was also shot in the arm, but his wound was not serious.
Police say Calloway is being charged with criminally negligent homicide and criminal possession of a weapon.
