Four of the people arrested were charged with driving while intoxicated. They have been identified as 27-year-old Lisa Strickland, of Port Jefferson; 22-year-old John Jakob, of Selden; 21-year-old Ibidapo Kayode, of the Bronx; and 29-year-old David Morgan, of Riverhead.
Two people were charged with driving while ability impaired. They have been identified as 29-year-old Oscar Quiles Jr., of Bellport; and 30-year-old Catherine Frenkel, of Chappaqua, New York.
Two men were charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. They have been identified as 49-year-old Robert Smith, of Blue Point; and 18-year-old Charles Leo, of Miller Place.
Additionally, police say 30-year-old Arnold Roundtree, of Shirley, was also charged with driving without a required ignition Interlock device, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
In Nassau, another 9 arrests were made at a sobriety checkpoint overnight Friday, police say.

They say as part of the crackdown, checkpoints will be set up in both Nassau and Suffolk counties through Monday.
