Police say a 74-year-old woman drove her car into an office building in Smithtown, injuring her and three other people.
Authorities say the woman crashed into Branch Pediatrics at 300 Middle Country Road in the Village of the Branch section of Smithtown at 4:23 p.m. The driver, a doctor, a mother and her 9-year-old son were injured.
They were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.
Suffolk police identified the driver as Lyudmila Lerner, of Kings Park. They say no criminal charges will be filed against her.
