Four people were arrested in connection to a violent robbery in Elmont, police say.
Investigators say a man and woman were robbed last month after leaving the Elmont Deli on Linden Boulevard.
Police say the victims got in their car around 3:30 a.m. and were approached by two men demanding cash.
One of the men got in the car and began to choke the driver, stole his cash, then took off in a car with two other people, according to police.
Police have now arrested Taishawn Blanton, Jahvon Thompson, Tianna Reid, all of Queens, and Leann Horne from Levittown.
Blanton, Thompson and Reid were arraigned on robbery charges.
