Police say an altercation led to a stabbing outside a bar in Hempstead.

According to police, the fight began inside the Casa Blanca Bar on Jackson Street just before 5 a.m.

Police say a couple of men got into a verbal argument inside the bar and when they left the fight turned physical.

Police confirmed to News 12 that four men in total were stabled. All four men were transported to the hospital with injuries, one has since been released.

The incident happened right next to the Academy Charter School in Hempstead, where students this morning were forced to walk around the crime scene to get to school.
