Police: 29-year-old man shot, injured in Allerton
Police are investigating a shooting Sunday night in Allerton that sent one man to the hospital.
It occurred in front of 711 Allerton Ave. near White Plains Road.
Police say the victim, an unidentified 29-year-old male, was shot in the chest.
EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Medical Center. He is expected to be OK.
There is no word yet on a motive, and police have made no arrests.
