NEW YORK - A Spirit Airlines plane was held on the tarmac today because of a passenger's threatening comment.

Authorities say that the plane had already pushed off the gate this morning when another passenger heard the comment.

The Port Authority says the passenger was removed from the plane, and the flight was able to take off.
