Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a pedestrian in Amityville.
According to police, the unidentified victim was crossing Route 110 just before midnight when he or she was hit near Mill Street. The driver took off.
There is currently no description of the vehicle.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, with serious injuries.
