No one knows where they came from, but a bunch of peacocks apparently found a summer home in Dutchess County.
Brian C. says five peacocks showed up in May in Millbrook.
One of the peacocks was given away, but the remaining four made an apartment complex in the quiet village home.
Residents tried to locate the owners of the birds, called a local exotic pet zoo and talked to someone who breeds pheasants, with no luck.
The majority of residents say they like the animals, but know the peacocks need shelter for the winter.
