Parents: Son's genitals bitten at day care
Parents of a 4-year-old autistic Farmingdale boy say their son was bitten by a classmate Tuesday and suffered a lacerated penis.
Laura Luzuriaga says her son, William, was bitten through his clothing by another boy at Just Kids day care in Lindenhurst. When she arrived to pick him up, Luzuriaga says her son's underpants were bloody. Special needs children are grouped with other kids in classes at the day care.
Thomas Chiappone, William's father, says at least five adults should have been supervising six children. Chiappone says each adult has presented a different account of what happened.
Suffolk police are investigating the incident.
