A fire on Saturday morning destroyed a home in Hicksville.

The Hicksville Fire Department says they responded to a call reporting the blaze around 8:10 a.m.

Fire Chief Chris Moskos was at the scene, along with firefighters from nearby departments that came to assist.

Authorities say the fire was under control by 9:36 a.m. but left significant damage.

No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported, according to authorities.
