NYPD releases surveillance video in search for Bronx rape suspect
Police are asking for help tracking down a rape suspect in the borough.
Investigators released surveillance video of the suspect, who they say approached a 24-year-old woman at gunpoint and assaulted her.
It happened near Tremont Avenue and Meyers Street on Sunday around 5:30 a.m.
According to the surveillance video, the suspect was wearing medical scrubs and red sneakers.
An employee who works at a hardware store in the area says detectives told him the incident occurred in the parking lot of Boston Market.
