Movie screenings returned to the city's parks Friday night once the sun went down with a screening of "Wonder Woman" at Pelham Bay Park.

Across the five boroughs, NYC Parks is offering free movies for the summer.

And residents brought their families out to take advantage.

"I thought it would be a really fun thing for all of us to do," said Shannon O'Hara, who attended with her kids and her neighbors' kids. "We all came down here together to enjoy it."

In the Bronx, the events will be held at either Pelham Bay Park and Orchard Beach throughout the summer.
