A Norwalk dad whose dedication to watching his son's baseball team has now landed him in hot water with immigration.

Tono Vasquez was so proud when his son Jose's team, the Norwalk Revolution, qualified for a trip to the Babe Ruth World Series in Texas. 

The team took third place and Jose was named an all-star. However, the excitement quickly turned to fear.

Vasquez, a native of Venezuela, was traveling with an expired Visa. On the way to catch a flight home, he passed through an immigration checkpoint and was taken into custody.

When asked if he would do it again, Vasquez said he definitely would.

"I'm a father, for my son I would go to the end of the Earth," says Vasquez.

Vasquez is facing deportation. Attorneys are working to help him stay with his family.
