Long Island's largest health care network is changing its name.
The board of directors at North Shore LIJ approved the new name "Northwell Health."
The change goes into effect in January.
It is part of a re-branding and marketing campaign to unify LIJ's 21 hospitals on Long Island, New York City and Westchester.
