YAPHANK - Activists and politicians are calling on Suffolk County to end its contract with a Yaphank trap-and-skeet range.

Critics say the issue with the range became intensified after the property's lessee, Mark Wroobel, was arrested during a gun raid in Nassau County last week for allegedly selling illegal assault weapons.

Suffolk Legislator Kate Browning (WFP-Shirley) says Wroobel's lease with Suffolk County should be terminated immediately.
