THE BRONX - Yankees fans will have to wait until Tuesday for the season opener.

The Yankees announced that they postponed Monday afternoon’s home opener against the Houston Astros due to weather.

Masahiro Tanaka will make his second consecutive opening day start for New York.

The Yankees face the Astros Tuesday at 1:05 p.m.
