Woman killed by Suffolk Transit bus in Coram

Police say an unidentified 35-year-old female pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus in Suffolk County yesterday.

Police say the woman was walking on Homestead Drive when she was hit.

CORAM - Police say an unidentified 35-year-old female pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus in Suffolk County yesterday.

According to police, the woman was walking on Homestead Drive in Coram when she was hit by a Suffolk Transit bus.

The collision happened just south of Middle Country Road at around 5 p.m. 

No one on the bus was hurt, and no charges were filed.
