FARMINGDALE - Police say a burglary suspect was arrested while appearing in court on an unrelated charged after his handprint matched those found at a crime scene.

According to police, Wilfi Rosario Rodriguez allegedly broke into a house on Staples Street in Farmingdale in April.

Investigators say they linked his prints to one left on a window at the scene.

Rodriguez was arrested yesterday in First District Court in Central Islip where he was already being held on other non-related charges.
