WOODBURY - Strong winds affected many Long Island homes over the weekend.

Heavy winds toppled trees on Mooney Pond Road near Paul Path in Coram Sunday night.

Crews say they had to remove large branches from blocking the middle of the street.

Trees also came down in Farmingville on Adirondack Drive, just north of Granny Road.

According to PSEG Long Island's website, thousands of people dealt with power outages Sunday night.
