A wild American mustang has traveled hundreds of miles from the Nevada/California border to his new home at the Diamond Hedge Farm in Holtsville.

The 4-year-old, 1,300-pound horse was going to be put down as part of a government program to thin out an overpopulated herd, but instead was brought to Long Island by American-made clothing line Lost Cowboy Brands.
