WOODBURY - Long Islanders could be in for a rough commute as flurries are expected to make their way into the area this evening and continue into the weekend. News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman says light snow will be falling on-and-off, with a dusting to 1 inch possible. Some rain may also mix in over the East End. Tomorrow, some flurries in the morning will give way to mostly sunny skies, but light snow will return overnight and continue into Saturday, likely resulting in minor accumulations. Later in the day, snow showers are expected to give way to a slushy mix and rain.
