WOODBURY - News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Rich Hoffman says rain is expected to taper off west to east toward 3 p.m. today.

Highs are expected to be near 50 degrees with winds 5 to 15 mph.

For tonight, expect partly to mostly cloudy conditions with areas of fog and lows near 40 degrees.

Wednesday and Thursday will see temperatures in the 50s.
