WOODBURY - The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Nassau and Suffolk counties.
The warning will be in effect from 6 a.m. tomorrow through Saturday at 1 p.m. The storm is expected to bring heavy snow, strong winds and dangerous driving conditions, and there's also a possibility of coastal flooding.
News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Bill Korbel says the storm will begin with a mix of strong rain and snow for Friday, before turning to all snow by Friday evening. He says the worst of the storm will be late Friday afternoon through Saturday morning.

Wind gusts of up to 60 mph and tree limbs burdoned by wet snow means there's a strong possibility of power outages, Korbel says.
Korbel says most of Long Island will likely get between 8 and 16 inches of snow.
