WOODBURY - The weekend that marks the unofficial start to summer is off to a soggy start.
News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Samantha Augeri says today will be cloudy, windy and cool with scattered rain showers. Heavy downpours are possible, especially this morning, and they could bring about some street flooding. Highs will be in the low to mid-50s.
Tonight will be breezy and chilly with rain showers eventually tapering off. Sunday morning will be mostly cloudy, but the skies will eventually give way to some afternoon sunshine with highs near 66 degrees.
Memorial Day will see mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures with highs near 73 degrees for much of Long Island.
