WOODBURY - Long Island's roads may be slippery during theis morning's commute due to overnight temperatures below freezing.

Roadways covered in puddles of snowmelt or leftover coatings of snow could become extremely icy.

Drivers are being urged to give themselves extra travel time and to be alert.

The rest of the day today will see mostly sunny skies with seasonable temperatures around 36 degrees.

Tuesday will see a mix of sun and clouds with some late-day showers and highs near 37 degrees.

Wednesday will see slightly warmer temperatures, with highs around 42 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Thursday and Friday are expected to see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid- to upper-30s.
