WOODBURY - The hot and humid weather will continue this week with highs expected to climb into the 90s by Thursday after a brief respite tomorrow.

News 12 Long Island Meteorologist Bill Korbel says after a slight drop in temperatures overnight, highs will be in the 80s tomorrow across Long Island before climbing back into the low 90s Thursday.

On Friday and Saturday, Long Islanders should expect humid and hazy conditions with temperatures in the mid and low 90s, respectfully.

So far this month, Long Island has had five days of 90-degree temperatures or more.
