HUNTINGTON - The forecast for more snow on Long Island has left many Long Islanders weary, even with final snowfall totals expected to be much less than originally predicted.

Although most of Long Island is only expected to get between 1 and 3 inches by Monday afternoon, towns are still preparing for ice and slippery roads.

Babylon Town Supervisor Rick Schaffer says the town has already eclipsed its snow budget for the year, but they're still ready for this next round. Schaffer says plows will be out all night into Monday morning to keep the roads clear for the morning commute.

This very snowy winter hasn't been bad news for everyone. Many businesses are reporting big sales of winter clothes, boots and snow shovels.
