Voters headed to the polls Tuesday for nearly a dozen village elections.

There are seven contested mayoral races.

WOODBURY - Voters headed to the polls Tuesday for nearly a dozen village elections. 

Manorhaven Mayor Giovanna Giunta and Muttontown Mayor Julianne Beckerman were both re-elected. Herb Morrow was re-elected in Huntington Bay.

Joseph McDermott was elected as mayor of Brightwaters. Paul Rupp was elected as mayor of Bayville.

George Pappas defeated 18-year incumbent Stephen Mahler and was elected as mayor of Atlantic Beach.
