Officials are set to vote today on a bill that requires anyone involved in a serious crash that has a serious injury or death to take a blood alcohol test.

The bill was passed by the Senate and is set to be voted on by the State Assembly.

As of now, police only check for blood alcohol if they suspect someone is over the limit.
