OCEANSIDE - Charitable groups were braving the inclement weather today to deliver food to those who can't easily leave their homes.

According to Ed Coyle, of Catholic Charities, many elderly and disabled Long Island residents depend on their food-delivery service each day, but the blizzard has made that difficult over the past three days.

County Executives Ed Mangano and Steve Levy say both Nassau and Suffolk have comprehensive systems in place to make sure that homebound residents are able to weather the storm.
