NORTH AMITYVILLE - A mother of four was killed Saturday night by her boyfriend in their North Amityville home, before he took his own life.

Police say Virginia Vasquez, 32, was stabbed to death by her boyfriend Stephen Guillaume on Saturday night as her 14-year-old daughter and the couple's 4-year-old son watched. Sandra Vives, Vasquez's sister, says Vasquez's daughter Kianna called her for help but by the time she arrived, both of them were dead.

Kianna tried to stop Guillaume, but was cut on her hand as she tried to help her mother. Their 4-year-old son was uninjured.

Vasquez, known to her friends as 'Bibi,' had four children, two with Guillaume. Her family says her nine-year relationship with Guillaume was abusive and that he stabbed her when Vasquez told him they were breaking up.
