FLORAL PARK - A man accused of sodomizing underage boys, videotaping the act and distributing the videos was arraigned in Central Islip Tuesday.

Prosecutors say Vincent Calamia has been luring teenage boys from as far back as 2005.

He faces multiple charges, including production of child pornography.
Neighbors say the 59-year-old man is known in the community as the co-owner of Frankie and Vinnie's bar in Bellerose and an active member of the civic association.

Prosecutors say detectives seized over 50 DVDs, several computers, cameras and other electronic equipment. News 12 was told federal agents identified 10 videos from Calamia's computer, depicting him having sex with boys as young as 15 years old.

Prosecutors say federal agents also discovered chats stored on Calamia's computer, in which he was discussing with teenage boys about meeting to have sex.

Calamia faces 15 to 30 years in prison if convicted.

More alleged victims are expected to be interviewed, which could mean more charges may be filed against Calamia.

He is being held without bail.
