BABYLON - The Village of Babylon is feeling the wrath of Sandy: the powerful storm has brought floodwaters several feet deep onto Montauk Highway.The edge of Babylon at the end of Route 231 near West Islip is under several feet of water. The area is just about one mile from the bay.Police have cleared out onlookers in the village because of the risk of downed powerlines.
