FARMINGVILLE - Dozens of people gathered tonight at a Farmingville vigil for the four victims of the Medford drug-store massacre.

In an effort to bring comfort to the Medford community, Deacon Glenn Diener organized the vigil at the Bald Hill Amphitheater to remember 17-year-old Jennifer Mejia, 71-year-old Bryon Sheffield, 33-year-old Jaime Tacceta and 45-year-old Raymond Ferguson.

Diener says he had received numerous calls from politicians and community members after Sunday's tragedy. He said tonight's event was about healing a community in mourning and also shedding light on the problem of violence in the area.
