STONY BROOK - ? The father of the two surviving children in the horrific Manorville crash that left his wife and one of his sons dead held a bedside vigil at the hospital this evening.

Keri Trinca, 30, and her son, Jason Trinca, 7, were killed when their car was struck by a van on Route 111 and Ocean View Boulevard. Trinca's other two children, Marialena, 4, and Christopher, 2, were also in the car and are in critical condition at Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Doctors say they are cautiously optimistic for their recovery.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
