STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - (AP) - The unhappiness at Happy Valley continues.Penn State students held a vigil tonight to show supportfor the victims of the sex abuse scandal that has gripped thecampus this week.The university's new president, Rod Erickson, says widereceivers coach Mike McQueary, a key witness, has been put on paidleave. Erickson says he also plans to appoint an ethics officer,and said the school will review all standards, policies andprograms to ensure they meet "not only the law, but Penn State'sstandard."Meanwhile, there's word that former assistant coach JerrySandusky, the man at the center of the scandal, was recruiting forthe school as recently as last summer.Sandusky has been charged with molesting eight boys over 15years, with several of the alleged incidents occurring on PennState property. Police say someone smashed a window at Sandusky'shome Thursday night.
