WOODBURY - Video depicting cars speeding and erratically changing lanes just inches from drivers on the Long Island Expressway has motorists concerned.

The video, shot by a passenger and posted on Facebook, shows two cars zipping through several LIE lanes near Exit 39, weaving around the other cars that are braking around them.

Long Islanders who spoke with News 12 said that while they were shocked by the dizzying footage, they were not surprised by the recklessness behind the wheel.

Nassau police say they are investigating and are on the lookout for reckless drivers.

"This type of aggressive driving will not be tolerated, and we strongly encourage the public to call the police to report any unsafe driving," a police spokesman said. "It is imperative that motorists use extreme caution if coming in contact with these drivers."

Anyone with information on the incidents can call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
