Victim's mother: Deadly shooting at Empire Bar and Lounge in Farmingville stemmed from argument
FARMINGVILLE - The mother of a Mastic Beach man who was fatally shot outside of a Farmingville bar yesterday believes she knows why her son was killed.
Vicky Hollman, mother of 25-year-old Randell Hollman, says the shooting stemmed from an argument between her son, his girlfriend and another man.
Randell Hollman, a father of three, was shot and killed outside of Empire Bar and Lounge on Warren Avenue, according to police. Responding officers say a large group of people were fighting when they arrived.

"He didn't deserve to die like that," Hollman's mother told News 12 Long Island. "He wasn't a bad kid."
Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting, and no suspects have been named.
People who live near the bar say they have been complaining about the place since it opened in November. Police have been summoned several times to deal with noise issues.
