WESTBURY - A Wantagh mother who lost her husband on Sept. 11 says his grave has been desecrated by thieves.Philomena Mistrulli says a bronze vase that was placed by her husband Joseph's headstone was stolen from the Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury. Mistrulli says several others vases were also taken, all from the same section of the cemetery that's dedicated to Sept. 11 victims.In a letter, the cemetery says it will replace the vase with a "bronze-like insert," but Mistrulli says that's not good enough.
