LONG BEACH - Cameras were rolling and cars were crawling in Long Beach today as crews filmed a pilot episode for an upcoming show.

The Long Beach Bridge was shut down all day while production crews shot footage for a new NBC show titled "The Blacklist."

Traffic was backed up on both sides of the bridge, which is a major artery into and out of Long Beach. But most residents who spoke to News 12 Long Island didn't mind, and many said they were happy to see their city in the spotlight.

Filming crews will be back at it again tomorrow. Shooting is expected to wrap up by 11 p.m. on Sunday.
