UNIONDALE - There is a new push to build a new Nassau Coliseum.

Labor unions have been the loudest supporters of the new $400 million plan and today the unions teamed up with business owners, hospitality groups and Islanders fans and held a news conference at the arena.

The workers say their jobs will be badly affected if a new coliseum is not built.

The Nassau Legislature is expected to vote in the next week on whether or not to put the arena plan on a referendum.
