Ten children from the war-torn region of Kharkov, Ukraine enjoyed the grounds at LIU Post in Brookville Tuesday before undergoing important medical procedures.

Many of the children were taken to the United States through the humanitarian program Operation Hearts and Homes. They were brought here for medical needs not available in their country, as well as to get away from the chaos of war.
